A lot of students have a hard time managing their time myself included. The list below includes some tips that help me better manage my time:

1. Write down your goals or tasks ahead:

I write down my weekly goals at the beginning of the week, so I know what I need to accomplish at the end of the week

2. Spread out your goals:

I spread out my weekly goals into daily goals

3. Don’t be afraid to make changes:

There will be times you will have to change or add to your daily or weekly goals due to unforeseen conditions so don’t be afraid to move your goals around

4. Assign a time to your task:

Assigning each task time tells you when you should be doing a task, and what task is next. It also shows you how much time you can assign to a task, and which ones to push forward.

5. Make few achievable goals:

If you have too many goals or goals that take a long time, you will have to assign more time. You should spread it out for maybe a month or more.

6. Start:

Often, we write down our goals, and we feel afraid to start because we’re not sure we have the capacity to achieve our goals fully. The most important step is starting. It doesn’t matter if you don’t finish reading 30 pages, start with 1 page, and slowly continue.

7. Start small:

If you have to read 30 pages in 1 week and start by reading 2 pages in the morning, afternoon, and evening, you will have finished reading by the end of the week. Although there will be days you will have to miss reading either in the morning, afternoon or evening; the other days will make up for it.

8.Get rid of distractions:

Switch off your phone, turn off the wifi, and do whatever you can to stay focused, so you don’t waste time.
